The School Network connects Yorkshire Children’s Charity with schools across the region, helping us understand need and to direct support where it will have most impact. It strengthens our work supporting children at a disadvantage, whether it be due to sickness, disability or financial challenges. Member schools can access practical support, campaigns and skills programmes.

LEAP
The LEAP Young Entrepreneur Challenge gives secondary school students the experience of building a business from scratch. Teams receive £250 seed funding, take on business roles and develop, market and sell a product. Industry mentors guide them through the programme, building commercial understanding, teamwork, communication and confidence before a final pitch and finalists can attend The Yorkshires. Business Awards.
Fairway Forward
Fairway Forward
Fairway Forward introduces pupils to golf through a programme of coaching, club access and corporate mentoring.
Each pupil is matched with a business sponsor who supports their progress and helps them build confidence, communication and discipline. The programme ends with pupils and sponsors playing together at a corporate golf day.
Constructing Careers
Constructing Careers
Constructing Careers introduces students to jobs across commercial and residential property. Industry professionals deliver practical workshops covering areas including planning, design, asset management and construction.
